Lucid Air Dream Edition | Custom Color-Changing PPF + Carbon Fiber Chrome Delete

This project was a true test of craftsmanship and precision, a full color-changing paint protection film (PPF) transformation on a white Lucid Air Dream Edition, paired with a carbon fiber chrome delete for a clean, exotic finish.

Lucid’s complex curves, sharp panel transitions, and ultra-high-gloss surfaces make this one of the most challenging vehicles to wrap flawlessly. Every panel was hand-laid, custom cut, and heat-formed to ensure seamless coverage, no stretch marks, no visible edges, and no trapped imperfections.

Resulting in a dramatic new look that shifts color in the light while providing full-body protection against rock chips, scratches, and UV damage. This advanced PPF not only changes the visual style of the car but also preserves the original factory paint, giving it the best of both worlds style and protection.

The carbon fiber chrome delete completes the look, giving the Lucid an aggressive, performance-inspired edge that perfectly complements its futuristic design.

At Eighty8 Auto Customs, we treat every project like a showcase build especially when it involves high-value vehicles like the Lucid Dream Edition. The result is a flawless, color-shifting masterpiece that turns heads while staying protected for years to come.
