The Mazda MX-5 Miata has always been celebrated for its lightweight design, timeless styling, and exceptional driving experience. When this brand-new 2026 Miata arrived at our shop, the goal wasn't to change its appearance—it was to preserve it.
We installed a full-body Clear Gloss Paint Protection Film (PPF) along with premium window tint, ensuring this vehicle is protected from the very first mile while enhancing its already stunning factory finish.
For new vehicles, there is no better time to invest in Paint Protection Film. Once rock chips, scratches, and road damage occur, the factory paint can never truly be restored to its original condition. Protecting the paint before it is exposed to daily driving preserves the vehicle's appearance, value, and finish for years to come.
Unlike color-changing wraps, Clear Gloss Paint Protection Film is designed to become virtually invisible while dramatically enhancing the paint underneath.
Once installed, the film creates incredible depth and clarity, enriching the factory color with a wetter, glossier appearance. The paint looks more vibrant, reflections become sharper, and every curve of the Miata's body is accentuated—all while maintaining the original factory color.
The result is a finish that looks freshly polished every day, with the added confidence that it's protected against the elements.
Every PPF installation begins long before the film touches the vehicle.
Our process starts with a complete hand wash and chemical decontamination to remove transport residue, contaminants, and surface impurities. Even a brand-new vehicle requires meticulous preparation to create the ideal surface for Paint Protection Film.
Where necessary, trim pieces and exterior components are carefully removed or loosened to allow the film to wrap deep into panel edges, minimizing visible seams and exposed paint lines. This creates a cleaner, more refined finish that closely resembles the appearance of factory paint.
Each section of PPF is then professionally installed with precision, ensuring perfect alignment, exceptional clarity, and long-term durability. Every edge is inspected and finished to meet our exacting standards before the vehicle undergoes a comprehensive final quality inspection.
To complete the protection package, we installed premium window tint throughout the vehicle.
Window tint not only enhances the Miata's sleek appearance but also provides significant benefits for everyday driving, including:
Superior heat rejection for improved comfort
99% UV protection to help preserve the interior
Reduced glare for safer driving
Increased privacy
A balanced, refined appearance that complements the vehicle's design
Together, Paint Protection Film and premium window tint create the perfect combination of protection, comfort, and aesthetics.
The first few months of ownership are often when the most damage occurs.
Loose gravel, road debris, bug acids, bird droppings, and environmental contaminants begin affecting the paint from the moment a vehicle leaves the dealership. Paint Protection Film acts as an invisible sacrificial layer, absorbing impacts and helping prevent chips, scratches, and other damage before it reaches the factory paint.
For enthusiasts who plan to keep their vehicle for years—or simply want it looking its best—PPF is one of the smartest investments they can make.
