Well, our family is officially a minivan family. And the very first (and arguably the most important) modification we were looking to get is window tint! You see, as parents of 2 toddlers, we need our privacy. Picking our noses, eating our boogers, and playing with our food in the car are very sensitive moments for us. And that's just for the adults!! ;) After getting the keys to our new minivan, we headed straight to Eighty8 Auto Customs, which prides its business on over a decade of auto expertise and military-level attention to detail. The owner, T, is a marine and combat veteran. He's honest, knowledgeable, helpful in recommendations, and extremely skilled in his craft. He shared the options for tint and after hearing his non-salesy, low-pressure spiel, we decided on the Llumar IRX tint. This was the flagship tint and maintains maximum cool temperature of the interior. Although it is the priciest tint, we decided that it was like investing in a Yeti cooler vs. and off-brand. Buy once, cry once!! The workmanship of the tint was incredible. Everything was hand-cut (vs. machine) for a truly customized install. The interior does feel much cooler than before and even though we opted for the darkest tint (5%), we could still clearly see from the inside out just as easily as before. I highly recommend Eighty8 Auto Customs. The owner, T, takes a lot of pride in his work and avoids any shortcuts. We are now an extremely happy minivan family thanks to our very first (and most important) modification!!!
